CM Yogi holds Janta Darshan program despite the bitter cold

Gorakhpur: Despite the bitter cold on Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held the first Janta Darshan of the New Year at the Gorakhnath Temple, where he met with the public, listened to their grievances, and assured them of prompt and satisfactory resolutions.

The Chief Minister emphasized that no one would face injustice and directed officials to take immediate action on each case brought forward by the citizens.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met around 150 people during the Janta Darshan, personally listening to their grievances. He referred their applications to the concerned officials, instructing them to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolutions. He assured everyone that the government is committed to addressing the issues of every individual.

Due to the adverse weather conditions, the Janta Darshan was held in the auditorium of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at the temple. The Chief Minister personally approached the seated complainants, meeting each one to hear their concerns.

During the Janta Darshan, many people approached Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. The Chief Minister assured them of full government support for their treatment.

He handed over their applications to the concerned officials, directing them to expedite the process of preparing treatment estimates and submit them to the government promptly.

The Chief Minister also emphasized resolving revenue and police-related matters with complete transparency and fairness. He instructed that no one should face injustice and warned that strict legal action should be taken against individuals forcibly occupying someone else’s land.

CM Yogi performs ‘Gausewa’

During his stay in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath followed his traditional routine at the Gorakhnath Temple on Friday morning. He began his day by worshipping Guru Gorakhnath and then paid his respects at the ‘samadhi sthal’ of his guru, Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath.

Gausewa is an integral part of CM Yogi’s daily routine whenever he is at the Gorakhnath Temple. On Friday morning, he visited the temple’s Gaushala, spending time with the cows. As he walked through the Gaushala, he called the cows by their names, his voice instantly recognized by them. Hearing his affectionate call, several cows came running to him. CM Yogi lovingly stroked their foreheads, caressed them, and personally fed them jaggery.

The Chief Minister also inquired about the health and nutrition of the cows from the Gaushala workers, issuing specific instructions to ensure their well-being during the cold season.
